Press photography and video from Türkiye, the Levant, the Gulf and North Africa. A photographer uploads what they shot; it comes back captioned in Arabic, Turkish and English, reviewed by a person, and in front of picture desks — not sitting on a drive waiting to be translated.

Founded by a photojournalist and director with twenty years in the field, who covered the Middle East's defining events — he lived the gap himself before building what closes it.

Why we exist

A photographer comes back from a long day with four hundred frames, sells three of them to someone they already know, and the rest stays where it is — not for lack of skill, but because captioning, translating and pricing them is a second full job there is no time for.

In the other direction, an editor in Istanbul cannot find what a colleague in Gaza shot an hour ago, because the caption was written in a language they do not search in.

The gap is not in the pictures. It is in the distance between them and whoever needs them. That distance is the whole of our work.

Our editorial standards

  1. The archive copy is never altered

    Every photo is archived at up to 3000 pixels on its long edge; smaller files, RAW and video are kept exactly as they arrived. The full original stays with the photographer. The preview is a derived copy; the licence is on the archive copy.

  2. The caption describes what is in the frame

    Not what we assume, and not what would sell it better.

  3. Place and date are never invented

    What neither the file nor the photographer states is left empty. An archive with a missing field beats an archive with a guessed one.

  4. Every frame carries its photographer's name

    From the frame page through to the invoice.

  5. No frame is published before a person sees it

    AI describes and translates. The decision stays with the desk.

The photographer is a partner, not a supplier

The photographer keeps 40–60% of every licence, set per person rather than by a single table. Copyright stays with them — we license use, we do not buy ownership.
